Dog of the Day: Stan

Stan is approximately 6 years old and resides in Nova Scotia, Canada. He is charming, eager to please and loves to hang out with other dogs. He is also good with children and would suit a family home.  He spent most of his first six years in an outdoor pen so he is not house trained, but with patience and consistency he will be fully trained in no time (he is currently being potty trained while in foster). Although he is crate trained, he is quite the social butterfly and prefers to be next to his human.

Stan has been neutered and has had all his shots.

For more information on Stan, or other available dogs, please contact  Atlantic Small Dog Rescue at info@asdrescue.com or visit their website here.

Dog Of The Day: Keisha

This beauty is a senior gal currently residing in St. John’s, NL. Keisha’s quiet, laid back disposition makes her perfect with children and other dogs.  Because of her age and arthritis, she isn’t too energetic but she still loves her daily walks and loves nothing more than a good belly rub.  She does not like to be left alone and because of this, it would be ideal if she was adopted into a family where someone was home most of the time.

For more information on Keisha, please contact Heavenly Creatures at 709.739.0077 or visit them on the web at www.heavenlycreatures.ca

Cat Of The Day: Rascal

This handsome devil is named Rascal and he is a social, sweet natured cat who never quarrels, bites or scratches.  He enjoys being petted but does like his own space and prefers to be left alone. Because of this he is not a lap cat and will need time to adjust to his new surroundings. He is approximately 5 years old and gets on fabulously with other cats.

Rascal currently resides at North Toronto Cat Rescue and  has been neutered and vaccinated.

For more information on Rascal or to inquire about other cats in need of good homes, please contact the North Toronto Cat Rescue at 1-905-940-2287 or view their website here.

Cat of the Day: Cedric

Isn’t he gorgeous?  When I saw his picture I knew he would be the first cat to be posted on my blog.  Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce you to Cedric.

Cedric is described as a male roughly 1 – 1.5 years of age.  He requires a home where he is the only cat (teens are okay) as he needs a predictable, relaxed home.

If you would like more information on Cedric or would like to see the many other cats that are looking for their furever homes, please visit www.meowfoundation.com.

Cedric is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Dog of the Day: Ozzie

Ozzie is just over a year old. He was rescued from a reserve in Northern Quebec when he was about 5 months old. He has come a long way in the short time since his rescue and definitely deserves a forever home.

His shots are up to date, he is neutered and crate trained.  He is well behaved on and off leash and plays well with other dogs.  Despite this, it is recommended that he be placed in a home with no children or older children where his is the only dog.

For more information on Ozzie please visit the B.A.R.K. website here.
